Connecting With Touch

Developmental Touch: Healing the Overloaded Nervous System

*Joanna Haymore, MS, OT/L, CST-D

Developmental Touch presents experiential training in somatic sensations underlying our sense of ease or struggle in our bodies.

By recognizing these primary cellular pattern of Vibration, Breathing, Pulsation, and Sponging inside ourselves, we can better understand how we derive feelings of comfort, protection, nurturance, and vitality.

This felt sense of the life within allows us the steadiness to be fully present for ourselves and others.

Learn skills to recognize, develop, and maintain this inner core to heal your overworked nervous system.

I am grateful to Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen for demonstrating how our body’s pre-vertebral movement patterns and experiential anatomy of our primary cellular layers provide the blueprint for greater ease in our nervous systems.
